Brousseau Naftis & Massingill shareholders Matthew Naftis and Elayna Naftis Erick have been selected to the 2023 edition of Texas Super Lawyers. Matthew was chosen for his work in real estate and Elayna for family law; both were also selected for business litigation.
This year’s Super Lawyers recognition comes on the heels of Elayna’s selection to The Best Lawyers in America for family law as well as collaborative law.
“We may be a small firm, but these recognitions show that we’re adept at handling all aspects of our clients’ professional and personal legal concerns,” Matthew said. “From residential real estate issues to commercial leases, family law and estates, we’re there when our clients need us.”
A skilled family lawyer, Elayna shares her expertise on the firm’s blog, where she explores perennial topics, as well as family law issues in the news. Outside of her law practice, Elayna serves on The Lamplighter School Parents’ Association board, and previously served on the school’s Annual Fund Committee. Elayna is also a member of the Goodwill Dallas board of directors.
Matthew represents clients in real estate, small business matters, and creative arts issues from start to finish. With his family, Matthew volunteers his time delivering food, furniture, and other necessities to local refugees from parts of the world ravaged by war and famine. He also assists Austin Street Center in real estate matters and serves as general counsel to Dallas’ Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Super Lawyers, published by Thomson Reuters, compiles its annual lists based on a patented peer review and research process. They recognize no more than 5 percent of attorneys in each state.
