The Best Lawyers in America has selected Brousseau Naftis Erick & Massingill shareholder Elayna Naftis Erick for its 2025 edition for her work in both family law and collaborative law: family law. This is the sixth consecutive year that Elayna has been included on the publication’s list of the country’s top attorneys.
Elayna’s recognition follows her recent elevation to named shareholder after being an integral member of the firm for over 20 years, first as an associate in 2003, then as a shareholder in 2021. In her time with BNEM, in addition to Best Lawyers, she has been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers, and earlier in her career, she was selected to Rising Stars by Super Lawyers. Her contributions have also earned the firm a prestigious Best Law Firms listing for the last three years.
Elayna also maintains an educational LinkedIn account, where she shares lessons learned from high-profile divorces and how they might apply to the firm’s clientele.
An active member of the Dallas community, Elayna serves on the Goodwill Dallas board of directors as well as the Parents’ Association Board of St. Mark’s School of Texas.
Best Lawyers employs a nominations and peer review system to select the attorneys named to each year’s issue. Attorneys are prohibited from paying for a spot on the list.
