Brousseau Naftis Erick & Massingill shareholders Matthew Naftis and Elayna Naftis Erick have once again been recognized on Texas Super Lawyers’ list of outstanding attorneys.
Matt received the peer-selected distinction for his work in real estate, while Elayna was included for family law.
“Although our practices seem different, we understand that families’ concerns run the personal and professional gamut,” said Elayna. “One day we might advise on a real estate transaction, the next assist with a parenting plan, and it all might be for the same individual. We’re proud that our professional colleagues recognize the full scope of work we do.”
A veteran real estate attorney and business litigator, Matt represents clients in real estate, small business matters, and creative arts issues from start to finish. He has tailored his practice to accommodate his clientele, the majority of whom are small business owners seeking to protect their estates and grow their assets.
Super Lawyers is the latest in a series of professional accolades for Elayna, who kicked off the year with an elevation to named shareholder of the firm. In June, the firm’s family law practice was named among the top three in Dallas by the readers of Texas Lawyer, and last month, Elayna was selected to the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for her work in family law, a recognition she’s earned every year since 2020.
Super Lawyers, published by Thomson Reuters, compiles its annual lists based on a patented peer review and research process. They recognize no more than 5 percent of attorneys in each state.
